Corinne is a California licensed acupuncturist and a Nationally Certified Diplomat of Acupuncture (NCCAOM). She graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine where she completed over 3,000 hours of study in acupuncture and 1,000 hours of clinical training.
Corinne’s enjoyed a primary career as a Civil Engineer. Recognizing her passion for caregiving, and after personally receiving benefit from acupuncture she chose to pursue an education in Traditional Chinese Medicine. A substantial portion of the acupuncture graduate program at ACTCM is devoted to western biomedicine for the intentional purpose of developing an integrated medicine mindset that is so important in the modern acupuncture practitioner. Her strong background in the hard sciences gives Corinne a unique ability to use Chinese medicine to complement western care plans, and to find solutions for problems that western medicine is unable to treat.
Aside from her extensive knowledge of Chinese and Western medicine, Corinne brings an aspect to her practice that cannot be taught: life experience. In addition to being an engineer and an acupuncturist, Corinne has been a restaurateur; an avid athlete; a mother; and more recently, a grandmother.
Corinne has her own practice based in Corte Madera, CA where she sees patients three days a week. She also does work at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in Oakland, CA helping women undergoing chemotherapy rebuild and maintain healthy bodies for optimal outcomes.
